Skyline Apartment REIT Sells Property in Airdrie, Alberta

[Guelph, Ontario – December 7, 2023]

On December 7, 2023, Skyline Apartment REIT sold a property at 20 Kingsland Close SE (King’s Heights) in Airdrie, Alberta.

The property comprises three 4-storey buildings with 192 residential units in total. With the sale of this property, Skyline Apartment REIT will be leaving the Airdrie market.

“20 Kingsland Close SE was identified in 2023 as appropriate for a strategic disposition,” said Matthew Organ, President, SkylineApartmentREIT.ca.

“We thank Airdrie for having welcomed the Apartment REIT and allowing us to do great business in the community. We will continue to evaluate the Skyline Apartment REIT portfolio and identify any non-core assets, where strategic dispositions can surface further value for our investors.”

Post-disposition, Skyline Apartment REIT comprises 242 properties in 58 communities in seven provinces across Canada, with a total of 21,860 residential units.
