Skyline Apartment REIT sells Timmins, Ontario portfolio

Skyline Apartment REIT has sold three residential properties in Timmins, Ontario.

On December 6, 2024, the REIT sold 641 Cedar Street North (Cedar Street Apartments). 

On December 16, the REIT sold 820 Suzanne Street (Persephone Place) and 860 Suzanne Street (Aurora Place). 

The properties total 139 residential suites. With the sale of these properties, Skyline Apartment REIT will be exiting the Timmins market. 

“Skyline Apartment REIT continues to execute on its strategy of evaluating its property portfolio to identify non-core assets where strategic dispositions can provide further value for its investors,” said Matthew Organ, President, Skyline Apartment REIT.

“Earlier this year, our Timmins portfolio was identified as appropriate for strategic disposition. We thank the Timmins community for their support and partnership over the 16 years that we operated in the area.”

Post-disposition, Skyline Apartment REIT comprises 236 properties in 55 communities in seven provinces across Canada, with a total of 21,006 residential suites.
