Skyline Apartment REIT sells Gatineau, Quebec portfolio

[Guelph, Ontario – December 12, 2024]

Skyline Apartment REIT has sold two residential properties in Gatineau, Quebec.

On December 11, 2024, the REIT sold 2, 4, 6, 8 & 10 rue Radisson (Les Jardins Radisson).

On December 12, 2024, the REIT sold 400 & 405 boulevard des Grives (Château des Grives).

The properties total 722 residential suites.

“Although Skyline Apartment REIT typically maintains a buy-and-hold strategy, we regularly evaluate our property portfolio and identify any non-core assets, where strategic dispositions can surface further value for our investors,”

“Our Gatineau portfolio was identified as appropriate for a strategic disposition. Funds surfaced from the property’s sale will be used toward accretive property acquisitions to ensure maximum value for Skyline Apartment REIT unitholders.”

With the sale of these properties, Skyline Apartment REIT will be exiting the Gatineau market.

Post-disposition, Skyline Apartment REIT comprises 238 properties in 56 communities in seven provinces across Canada, with a total of 21,097 residential suites.
