Skyline Apartment REIT Enters Town of Sherwood Park, AB

On Friday, December 17th, 2015, the Skyline Apartment REIT closed its first property in the town of Sherwood Park, just east of Edmonton, AB. The Emerald Hills complex at 5000, 5100, 5400, and 5500 Clover Bar Road was purchased for $46.1 million and consists of 208 luxury apartment suites. The brand new, smoke-free building is close to several parks, grocery stores, and shopping centres.

Post-acquisition, the Skyline Apartment REIT comprises 173 properties in 47 communities in 6 provinces, with 15,275 apartment suites.
