Skyline Apartment REIT Acquires New 7-Property Portfolio in Chatham, Ontario and Sarnia, Ontario!

On Friday, May 30th, 2014, Skyline Apartment REIT purchased a 7-property portfolio consisting of residential buildings in the cities of Chatham, Ontario and Sarnia, Ontario, communities in which the Skyline Apartment REIT is already well-established.

The portfolio of properties includes:

  • 80 Colborne Road, Sarnia, Ontario
  • 75 Colborne Road, Sarnia, Ontario
  • 20 Berkshire Road, Sarnia, Ontario
  • 25 Willowdale Crescent, Sarnia, Ontario
  • 43 Grand Avenue East, Chatham, Ontario
  • 00 McFarlane Avenue, Chatham, Ontario
  • 0 Merritt Avenue, Chatham, Ontario

The total purchase price for the portfolio was $32,250,000, bringing the Skyline Apartment REIT’s total IFRS value to $1,031,876,000.

Skyline Apartment REIT currently has 132 properties and 10,524 units in 43 communities across four provinces, with 718,952 square feet of commercial space.
